Rob Slater

Rob Slater is the Chief Innovation Officer and cofounder of SlickLabs. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and a master's in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Wright State University. Rob served in the United States Air Force Research Laboratory leading large and small teams spread across the US to create and deliver advanced technologies. As an entrepreneur he has built 4 companies building technical platforms spanning fintech, energy and medical industries. Rob continues to serve the USAF through the SBIR program to help identify innovative small businesses for partnerships in developing next-gen technologies.

David chick

David Chick is the Chief Engineer and a cofounder of SlickLabs. He has developed several biomedical devices to include a pressure ulcer imaging system as well as a product that reduces hair loss associated with chemotherapy treatment. He also designed and built the electronics for an automatic guitar tuner, a remote fireworks launching system, and a battery-powered stethoscope with wireless communication capability. With over 23 years of active duty service in the Air Force, he has experience leading diverse teams through various phases of US defense acquisition to include cutting edge science and technology development, requirements decomposition, engineering and manufacturing development on major weapon systems, and software sustainment of operational systems. David received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
